Clocks

Every generation has some things that have ceased to live and be adopted by the next. There might be a plethora of things but what there’s one little small thing that i would like to attribute to my generation.
The table alarm clock. There was a time when it was one of the most personal possessions. Those who have lived in hostels or even otherwise ever thought of waking up on time, live up to a meeting, be on time for date has relied faithfully on this. Personally very rarely has my clock been successful in getting me up on time but for the sake of millions who have been kind enough not to kick, throw or bang i would treat mine as a isolated case. I take the liberty to assume that everyone in my generation can attribute some of their success to this small instrument.
With mass influx and adoption of cellphones people have switched over digital alarm available on their phones. The less swanky, bulky and unsophisticated clock is making it’s exit from the bedrooms. pretty soon the irritating alarm would be gone forever, as change is a norm and inevitable.
