I have no soul, no heart that pounds
I wear a jacket and remain still,
i have no cause , no reason but still i exist,
I connect life and death,
I fit in a plam
but can swiftly bring down a man,
I love to save but made to kill,
I fear none, but feared by all
I have no will no last wish,
a small prayer before i climb the chamber,
let me perish but don't make me kill.

Sometimes i feel we don’t even realize how lucky we are to have the freedom to eat what we want to, be with whom we want to be and be able to do what we want to. I guess it’s the idleism that triggered this thought in me. It dragged me into the those gallows of misery , where we confine the not so good people of our society, the so called prisions. I can’t even relate to the thought of being in one of the prisions where all you wait for is another day and the day after that.I do not wish to sympathise with people who commit heinious crimes but i just want to feel what a person once convicted and imprisioned for life might go through.imagine having no privacy, where the only privilege that you get is half an hour visits twice a week.where you could write no more than 2 letters a week. For most of the staff you are known by your FIR no and it would remain as your identity as long as you live there.imagine you could never call up anyone. You could never get up to see the sunrise.never walk on the beach again..could never be there to make someone feel special. To never be able to ride alone.to listen to music, to dance without having to worry about tommorow.to be able to hold hands and feel the love.never meet friends and to never be able to eat mom’s food !
We all live in our own prisions where are ego and bad attitude stand guard to suppress the real ourselves. And not let the one who wishes to be free and full of soul and heart.who loves unconditionally, does what he feels like doing and also undestands what is right. Freedom is to be youself, to be able to listen to your heart and follow your dreams. To be able to eat another meal is freedom. Freedom may have different connotations but the essence remains the same.
The confinement of the mind is what i dread more than the confiment of my body.

Portuguese Tarts
The only thing i knew about Portugal till i visited Mumbai recently was Vasco d agama and Cristanio ronaldo but then i was introduced to one mind blowing thing called the Portuguese tarts. To be very honest when my friend insisted on buying it i wasn’t all that sure about going for it as it didn’t look that appealing. But the very moment i took the first bite i thanked her in my mind for choosing it for me.it is a must for all those who have a baker element in their DNA. There are a lot of other things on the offering that one can choose from. So next time you decide to visit INORBIT don’t miss out on the tarts. A loved one or a great friend will just act as a catalyst, just the way i found out.

A treasure
MHOW as a place might be absolutely negligible for most of us but people who love furnishing thier house, buy paintings, get custom made leather accessories , brass momentos, assembled enfield, jeeps it is surely the place to be. Of all the things that you get here two things would bring me back to this place would leather accessories and custom made bikes.MHOW is a very laid back place , very small but full of surprises.it is important that you get to know the place first and then decide to buy anything.like any other commercial hub there aren’t any shortage of people trying to make a quick buck. If you are from defence background things will be far more easier as people here have a lot of respect for the armed forces. One can use it in his/ her favour to get a good deal. The connectivity from indore is quite a shame but it shouldn’t take more than forty five minutes for you to reach MHOW.
Coorg or Kodagu is my favourite getaway as it still offers many unexplored places amidst it’s beautiful scenics. One such place is near talacauvery( the mythical birth place of river Cauvery). Talacauvery is usually visited by everyone and anyone who comes to coorg because of the temple on top of the hill which holds great religious significance to the locals.but my fav place is the abondaned windmills situated around 2km ahead of the talacauvery. The only way to reach this place is by trekking through the forest next to the temple. For some reasons the windmills have been abondaned but they still look so beautiful on the hill top. It offers a perfect spot for introspection and those with artistic inclinition will find it all the more beautiful.if ever you decide to visit coorg please don’t fall for arranged tours.the beauty lies in exploring and trust me if vasco da gama would have hired a travel agent he wouldn’t have discovered most of the beautiful places that he did.Nature should be experienced raw. As for stay try living in modest home stays as that would give you a real feel of the place and culture.visit to dubare and abhi falls is a must.Forgieners planning a visit are advised to talk to people who have previously visited coorg and inquire for rates and tariffs that they should pay.Coorg has recently become a tourisim hotspot so the natives are all in a hurry to cash in the boom.I will upload some pics of the windmill pretty soon.
Happy Exploring !

"Don't Splits-fella"
Reality shows.shows that are meant to be real,to be true, where people cry and express their love in front of millions of viewers!
where participants can be seen using the "F" word more than ever before. shows where there's a fight between love and seduction. where the boss calls the shots and uses participants as puppets when he feels the TRPs are not shooting high.
there's no trust! betrayl is everywhere! women are mere objects and shrewdness glorified! where voting system is no better than the one we have for our political system! skimpy dresses and couple of men who have all the fun! participants being disscussed in every college canteen, workplace and cafe ! is it fame? or is it mere dissection? you think anyone actually cares? doesn't!! then i feel everyone should! these shows are definetly not shot in MARS and beamed in india. these participants are the society. the new generation.my generation! this a serious sociological change. it is a reflection of the dreams and aspirations of new india! why such crave for fame? is it fame or identity crisis. are we not able to achieve indiviualisim? we all want to be someone else.we all want shortcuts.what happened to " i will work hard and struggle" attitude. have we lost it in this fast paced life?actually we have. everyday we hear about people becoming famous and getting rich in almost no time. the next door gal who's famous now! the dumbest chap in your class who went to a game show and is a rich man now!
why are we all so afraid of being a normal citizen. the common public! i prefer being a common man than letting my personal life be discussed more than the national budget.
where my personal life is made not so personal. you can get famous but with it comes a lot of pressure. it's very difficult to sustain and even more difficult when there's a downfall.of course there are a lot of people who manage it very well. people who don't care much about being famous but are anyways famous.those who try to be connected to the real world. there's are a numerous shows that promote musical skills, dancing skills, game shows which by far are still not that harmful to the society! work hard and you might just get lucky and famous. but plz don't sell youself !!
Dream Dream Dream !!

Ever thought where would u be after 20 yrs? for those who been through endless interview sessions in corporate cabins must have been asked by almost everyone the position you see yourself in after 5 yrs.But i'm talking 20 yrs. Some want to earn all the money and be super rich! and some want to give it all back to the society!some want to be famous! some wish they be unknown! some dream of being free! some dream of being alive! some don't think at all..it's all about priorities in life !!
It took couple of beers and a senior collegue to trigger this thought.
As for me..i don't want to be super rich! i want to retire early..own something, probably start a small business.have a small estate..couple of pets..write a book..yeah..!! might sound funny to come from a guy who took a year to read shantaram but then what the hell...gregogry david roberts took almost his entire prison life to write his! and i know it all might be possible.it might really come true.
for the fact to be proven let's see what we are today! didn't we all want to be what we are at some point of time in life.
like the author of "The monk who sold his ferrari" has written that when u really want something, when u sincerly aspire for something the world conspires for you to make it happen! We can put down our shoes and blame it all on destiny and let it
decide the path.I belong to a different school of thought. i feel one should dare to dream.after all it's all that we have.work towards it.but remember there are people who have worked their entire lives to achieve something but couldn't. the luck factor does play an important role. uncertainity is everywhere! in all walks of life but if u have a plan in mind the possibility of you ending up very close to it is very high.afterall there have been instances when ppl have discovered treasures, some by deliberate searching and some by incidence.Though both have got the got the booty only the former would feel satisfied.it's his dream come true. and for all we know the latter might have thought of being rich one day too.one knew the path the other didn't. the world conspires for both!!
the point is have a dream, plan your life, atleast know where u want to be! it all might seem impossible at this point of time but after 20 years you might find yourself sitting with a old friend of yours, in some pub, happily sipping beer and telling him " man! this is what i always wanted to be"..with a spark in your eyes and smiling away to glory !!

Why horlicks?

one of the stupidest things that i have seen being launched in recent days is the women horlicks! women please don't conclude before reading completely that i'm a sexist! I'm not by any degree of knowledge a nutrition specialist but i find this marketing gimmick very funny.now what can u think of next.. say women maggi noodles or women's nescafe !! this ad reminds me of an old saying - u can fool some people all the time, all the people sometime but not all the people all the time ! though i agree the energy requirement of both sexes might differ but not to such an great extent that a family would have to buy three horlicks now, a normal horlicks , a junior horlicks for the kid and a women horlicks. thank goodness there's no teen aged daughter in the family or else the management guy sitting out there would have come up with a " teen horlicks" but this is not the end of it. in sometime there will be more varieties coming up..daily horlicks for every day of the week, horlicks for old people, horlicks for IT professionals ( of course they need higher energy levels)
God save the world from horlicks!!
did u just say horlicks for Almighty???
Not Kidding!!

I'm not the most updated man in the world but one thing that hasn't been able to escape my attention or knowledge has been incidents involving small teen aged kids using firearms to kill their schoolmates.it's a very sad thing to let happen in a modern society like ours. kids resorting to these acts are not a good omen for the future generations. unlike popular belief kids have a lot of stress to combat. often bullying when not dealt in primitive stages leads to aggressive adulthood.now a kid who sees an opportunity to this long wait of distressing makes good of it often without putting any thought behind it.the solution lies in creating a platform where a kid can distress himself , express his woes and reclaim his self esteem. advocates of those who believe firearms are the cause for it, i beg to differ! for a kid who can plan of killing anyone can also draw inspiration from bollywood flicks can use something as common as a kitchen knife to kill his so called " tormentor". firearm is a medium but the culprit is the mind.children need to be respected and should be taken seriously.also ensure if your kid is not under any such stress he is also not doing it to others.good parenting will help solve this problem. and of course people who own firearms please do not let it be accessible. weapons are to protect not to kill!
