Sometimes i feel we don’t even realize how lucky we are to have the freedom to eat what we want to, be with whom we want to be and be able to do what we want to. I guess it’s the idleism that triggered this thought in me. It dragged me into the those gallows of misery , where we confine the not so good people of our society, the so called prisions. I can’t even relate to the thought of being in one of the prisions where all you wait for is another day and the day after that.I do not wish to sympathise with people who commit heinious crimes but i just want to feel what a person once convicted and imprisioned for life might go through.imagine having no privacy, where the only privilege that you get is half an hour visits twice a week.where you could write no more than 2 letters a week. For most of the staff you are known by your FIR no and it would remain as your identity as long as you live there.imagine you could never call up anyone. You could never get up to see the sunrise.never walk on the beach again..could never be there to make someone feel special. To never be able to ride alone.to listen to music, to dance without having to worry about tommorow.to be able to hold hands and feel the love.never meet friends and to never be able to eat mom’s food !
We all live in our own prisions where are ego and bad attitude stand guard to suppress the real ourselves. And not let the one who wishes to be free and full of soul and heart.who loves unconditionally, does what he feels like doing and also undestands what is right. Freedom is to be youself, to be able to listen to your heart and follow your dreams. To be able to eat another meal is freedom. Freedom may have different connotations but the essence remains the same.
The confinement of the mind is what i dread more than the confiment of my body.

Portuguese Tarts
The only thing i knew about Portugal till i visited Mumbai recently was Vasco d agama and Cristanio ronaldo but then i was introduced to one mind blowing thing called the Portuguese tarts. To be very honest when my friend insisted on buying it i wasn’t all that sure about going for it as it didn’t look that appealing. But the very moment i took the first bite i thanked her in my mind for choosing it for me.it is a must for all those who have a baker element in their DNA. There are a lot of other things on the offering that one can choose from. So next time you decide to visit INORBIT don’t miss out on the tarts. A loved one or a great friend will just act as a catalyst, just the way i found out.

A treasure
MHOW as a place might be absolutely negligible for most of us but people who love furnishing thier house, buy paintings, get custom made leather accessories , brass momentos, assembled enfield, jeeps it is surely the place to be. Of all the things that you get here two things would bring me back to this place would leather accessories and custom made bikes.MHOW is a very laid back place , very small but full of surprises.it is important that you get to know the place first and then decide to buy anything.like any other commercial hub there aren’t any shortage of people trying to make a quick buck. If you are from defence background things will be far more easier as people here have a lot of respect for the armed forces. One can use it in his/ her favour to get a good deal. The connectivity from indore is quite a shame but it shouldn’t take more than forty five minutes for you to reach MHOW.
Coorg or Kodagu is my favourite getaway as it still offers many unexplored places amidst it’s beautiful scenics. One such place is near talacauvery( the mythical birth place of river Cauvery). Talacauvery is usually visited by everyone and anyone who comes to coorg because of the temple on top of the hill which holds great religious significance to the locals.but my fav place is the abondaned windmills situated around 2km ahead of the talacauvery. The only way to reach this place is by trekking through the forest next to the temple. For some reasons the windmills have been abondaned but they still look so beautiful on the hill top. It offers a perfect spot for introspection and those with artistic inclinition will find it all the more beautiful.if ever you decide to visit coorg please don’t fall for arranged tours.the beauty lies in exploring and trust me if vasco da gama would have hired a travel agent he wouldn’t have discovered most of the beautiful places that he did.Nature should be experienced raw. As for stay try living in modest home stays as that would give you a real feel of the place and culture.visit to dubare and abhi falls is a must.Forgieners planning a visit are advised to talk to people who have previously visited coorg and inquire for rates and tariffs that they should pay.Coorg has recently become a tourisim hotspot so the natives are all in a hurry to cash in the boom.I will upload some pics of the windmill pretty soon.
Happy Exploring !
